Three injured in shooting at local business

On March 24 at 9:29pm San Antonio police officers received a report from emergency dispatch of shots fired in the 5500 block of N Loop 1604. Officers arrived on the scene and discovered three victims and several witnesses.  

Officers immediately secured the scene and started the interview process of the witnesses.

Officers also requested the presence of NCID to process the scene.

According to witness statements, a large truck fled the area with several suspects after the shooting.

EMS responded to the scene and transported three victims to University Hospital with life-threatening conditions.  One victim had a single gunshot to the chest.  The other two victims received a gunshot to the lower back.

Officers reviewed video surveillance of the incident and a witness was able to provide a license plate number of the suspected vehicle that fled the location before the officers arrived.

According to statements from San Antonio Police Department the incident developed from an argument between the individuals.

The investigation led to the arrest of the alleged shooter additional charges may be pending against others.

Officers booked 22-year old Mario Omar Guerra, Jr, into Bexar County Jail on charges of Aggravated Assault- Deadly Weapon. No bond had been set at the time of the report.
