The dust settles; O’Connor claims District Champion women’s basketball

Last night after a tough defensive game, Stevens walked off the court victorious against the Clark Lady Cougars.  The Clark Lady Cougars were able to contain the top two scorers for the Lady Falcons but could not stop the others from stepping in and taking over.  With the Stevens victory, it left three teams tied for second place.  Taft, Stevens, and Clark. 

Northside officials used a variety of methods to break the tie for seeding purposes.  For final standings in the district.  O’Connor first.  Taft, second.  Stevens, third.  Clark, fourth.

The playoff schedule has been set. 

Monday, February 12, Stevens will play Judson at 7pm at the Alamo Convocation Center.

Tuesday, February 13 O’Connor will play East Central at 6pm at Alamo Convocation Center.  Taft will play Smithson Valley at 7:30pm at Alamo Convocation Center.  Clark will play Steele at 7pm at Smithson Valley High School.

Admission is $5 for adults and $2 for students.
