Road construction closures for week of July 21

I-35 – Northeast San Antonio

  • Monday, July 23. 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. Alternating northbound mainlanes between Randolph Boulevard and I-35 northbound frontage road will be closed for illumination work.
  • Tuesday, July 249 a.m. until 3 p.m. The southbound ramp from Fratt Road will be closed for illumination work.

I-410 – Northeast San Antonio

  • Monday, July 23. 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. Alternating northbound mainlanes between I-35 northbound and I-410 westbound ramp will be closed for illumination work.

I-410 – West San Antonio

  • Current and continuous until December 2018. Turnarounds, both directions, at Marbach Road. The turnarounds will remain closed while crews construct the new Marbach overpass bridge. Traffic will use the signalized intersection.
  • Current and continuous until December 2018. Northbound exit ramp to Marbach. The ramp will remain closed while crews reconstruct the road. Traffic will exit US Hwy 90 and continue along the frontage road to reach its destination.
  • Sunday, July 22 until Friday, July 278 p.m. until 5 a.m. All northbound mainlanes between Valley Hi Drive and US 90 will be closed to set bridge panels. DETOUR: Traffic will use the frontage road and re-enter after US 90.
  • Sunday, July 22 until Friday, July 278 p.m. until 5 a.m. All southbound mainlanes between the exit ramp past Marbach Road to US 90 will be closed to set bridge panels. DETOUR: Traffic will use the frontage road and re-enter after US 90.

US 90 – West San Antonio

  • Current until Monday, July 309 p.m. until 5 a.m. Alternating mainlanes east and westbound at Loop 1604 closed for installing brackets and concrete deck pour. The US 90 westbound frontage road turnaround to eastbound will also be closed.
  • Current until Thursday, August 16. 24 hour closure. The eastbound left frontage road lane between the new entrance ramp to just west of Medio Creek bridge is closed for barrier work.
  • Saturday, July 21 until Sunday, July 22. 6:30 p.m. until 1 p.m. All eastbound mainlanes between Hunt Lane and I-410 will be closed for concrete pavement pour. DETOUR: Traffic will exit to the frontage road and re-enter at the next entrance.
  • Monday, July 23 until Thursday, July 269 a.m. until 3 p.m. The eastbound right lane between Hunt Lane and I-410 will be closed for rail foundation pour.

Loop 1604 – West San Antonio

  • Current until Monday, July 309 p.m. until 5 a.m. All mainlanes will be closed at US 90 for installing brackets and concrete deck pour. The US 90 eastbound entrance ramp from Loop 1604 will also be closed. DETOUR: Traffic will take US 90 westbound, exit Montgomery and take turnaround.
  • Monday, July 23 until Friday, July 279 a.m. until 3 p.m. The westbound FM 1957 (Potranco Road) to northbound Loop 1604 and northbound Loop 1604 to eastbound FM 1957 (Potranco Road) right turn lanes will be closed for traffic signal work.
  • Monday, July 23 until Friday, July 279 a.m. until 3 p.m. The westbound Military Drive to northbound Loop 1604 and northbound Loop 1604 to eastbound Military Drive right turn lanes will be closed for traffic signal work.
  • Monday, July 23 until Friday, July 279 a.m. until 3 p.m. The westbound Wiseman Boulevard to northbound Loop 1604 and northbound Loop 1604 to eastbound Wiseman Boulevard right turn lanes will be closed for traffic signal work.
  • Monday, July 23 until Friday, July 279 a.m. until 3 p.m. Alternating east and westbound lanes on FM 1957 (Potranco Road) under Loop 1604 will be closed for traffic signal work.
  • Monday, July 23 until Friday, July 279 a.m. until 3 p.m. Alternating east and westbound lanes on Military Drive under Loop 1604 will be closed for traffic signal work.
  • Tuesday, July 24 until Thursday, July 269 p.m. until 5 a.m. All east and westbound lanes on Military Drive under Loop 1604 will be closed for precast deck panel work. Detours will be posted.
  • Friday, July 27 until Sunday, July 299 p.m. until 5 a.m. All east and westbound lanes on FM 1957 (Potranco Road) under Loop 1604 will be closed for precast deck panel work. Detours will be posted.

SH 16 (Bandera Road) – West San Antonio

  • Sunday, July 22 until Friday, July 279 p.m. until 5 a.m. Alternating north and southbound lanes between Quincy Lee and Loop 1604 will be closed for striping and concrete traffic barrier work.
  • Sunday, July 22 until Friday, July 279 p.m. until 5 a.m. Alternating eastbound Loop 1604 frontage road lanes between the Target/Lowes sign to the HEB Driveway will be closed for striping and concrete traffic barrier work.
  • Sunday, July 22 until Friday, July 279 p.m. until 5 a.m. Alternating westbound Loop 1604 frontage road lanes between the exit ramp of Loop 1604 to the Bandera Road intersection will be closed for striping and concrete traffic barrier work.

I-10 – West San Antonio

  • Tuesday, July 249 a.m. until 4 p.m. Alternating westbound frontage road lanes between Ralph Fair Road and Fair Oaks Parkway will be closed for excavation/pipe installation/backfilling operations. DETOUR: Traffic at Ralph Fair Road will cross over the bridge and head north on the eastbound frontage road to Old Fredericksburg Road.

U.S. Hwy 281 – Far North San Antonio

  • Sunday, July 22 until Friday, July 279 p.m. until 5 a.m. The northbound right frontage road lane between Sonterra Boulevard exit ramp and entrance ramp will be closed for direct connector work.
  • Sunday, July 22 until Friday, July 279 p.m. to 5 p.m. All southbound frontage road lanes between Sonterra Boulevard entrance ramp to Loop 1604 westbound frontage road will be closed for direct connector work.
  • Sunday, July 22 until Friday, July 279 p.m. to 5 p.m. Alternating eastbound lanes on Stone Oak Parkway approaching US 281 will be closed for intersection work.
  • Monday, July 23 until Friday, July 279 p.m. until 5 a.m. Alternating northbound lanes will be closed between the Loop 1604 overpass and Sonterra Boulevard entrance ramp for striping work.
  • Monday, July 23 until Friday, July 279 p.m. until 5 a.m. The northbound right lane will be closed between the Loop 1604 overpass and Sonterra Boulevard entrance ramp for setting temporary barrier.
  • Wednesday, July 25 until Thursday, July 269 p.m. until 5 a.m. The north and southbound left and center lanes between Donella Drive entrance ramp and Sonterra Boulevard exit ramp will be closed for direct connector work.
  • Friday, July 27 until Monday, July 308 p.m. until 5 a.m. All lanes on east and westbound Redland Road at the intersection will be closed for intersection work. DETOUR: Traffic will used Ridgewood Parkway and Sonterra Boulevard.

Loop 1604 – North San Antonio

  • Saturday, July 21. 2 a.m. until 7 p.m. All eastbound frontage road lanes between Gold Canyon Drive and US 281 for direct connector work. DETOUR: Traffic will take double left at Gold Canyon Drive; double left at Redland Road; use the Redland Road entrance ramp; take the Stone Oak Parkway exit ramp and the turnaround at US 281.

 Other roads – San Antonio

  • Monday, July 23 until Friday, July 27. The westbound right lane on FM 1957 (Potranco Road) between Leopard Claw and Rousseau Road will be closed for excavation for new pavement structure, asphalt paving operations, curb and sidewalk work.

Other roads – Boerne

  • Current until Tuesday, July 319 a.m. until 4 p.m. Alternating main lanes closed in both directions of SH 46 between I-10 to the Kendall/Bandera County Line for guardrail work.
  • Monday, July 23 until Friday, August 107 a.m. until 7 p.m. Alternating lanes in both directions of FM 474 between Guadalupe River to 7 miles south of the Guadalupe River for base repair work.

Other roads – Converse

  • Current until Friday, August 39 a.m. until 4 p.m. Complete closure of westbound FM 1516 from FM 78 and School Street for intersection work. DETOUR: Traffic will access westbound FM 1516 through the Converse Center Street. Eastbound FM 1516 will remain open.

Other roads – Helotes

  • Current and continuous until Friday, September 28. Northbound Bandera Road at FM 1560. The left turn lane will close while crews do road work. No left turns will be permitted. Traffic will continue to the next intersection and turn around to reach its destination. Cross traffic from Circle A is also blocked.
