Reader believes McCray the answer for District Court

Dear Editor:

Even though temps were dipping just below freezing the evening of Jan. the 17th, indoors at the Grey Forest Clubhouse it was warm and cozy as supporters gathered for a fundraiser dinner for friend and neighbor, Todd McCray, announcing his campaign for Bexar County 226th District Court Judge! Hosted by Bob & Kat Gehrke, James & myself, Debbie Swisher, dinner was scrumptiously catered by Hellfighters Kitchen & crew.
During dinner, we learned that Todd is the only candidate, out of the four in the running, with 28 years of experience, and service to the community as Lead Prosecutor in Bexar County District Attorney’s Office and Grayson County Attorney’s Office. Todd has been designated as Special Prosecutor in Bexar County and the Lead Attorney in over 100 jury trials and over 1,000 criminal cases for the State. Todd is also experienced in Jury Trial, Appellate, and Juvenile Law.
Todd was born in Beaumont, Texas, graduated from St. Mary’s University School of Law and has been a resident of San Antonio for 30 years. Todd also holds a B.B.A. in Finance, from UT Austin.
Some of Todd’s licenses and associations include:
• Attorney & Counselor at Law, State Bar of Texas
• Board Certified in Criminal law by the Texas Board
• Legal Specialization
• United States Supreme Court
• Fifth Circuit of the United States Court of Appeals
• Western District of the United States District Court
Todd holds the coveted rank of Eagle Scout from the Boy Scouts of America and in attendance at the dinner was his Scoutmaster, Glenn Cummings, and wife Linda, who drove from Boerne to offer their support for Todd and his campaign! We hope that others will, too!
