Local Little League teams playing in Texas West State tournament

Local Little League teams advanced from the sectional tournaments to participate in the Texas West State tournament being held in Abilene, Texas. Tournament games started on Saturday and will conclude with the championship games on Tuesday.

In 8-10 baseball McAllister Park lost to Mid City Midland and will play Fort Worth at 6pm Monday for an opportunity to play in the Championship.

In 9-11 baseball, McAllister Park lost to Abilene Dixon and will play Midland Northern at 6pm Monday.

The Little League Baseball team from McAllister Park advanced to the championship game on Tuesday at noon.

In Junior baseball, Alamo Heights lost to Oil Belt and will play North Arlington on Monday at 5pm for a chance to reach the championship.

Northside Suburban 8-10 softball team defeated Waco Midway to advance to the championship game on Tuesday at 9am.

The 9 11 Greater Helotes team is trying to keep their championship hopes alive. The 9-11 softball team lost to Mineral Wells and will play Benavides on Monday at 5:30 pm. If the team wins it reaches the championship game on Tuesday.

The Little League team defeated Waco Midway on Sunday, earning a spot in the championship game on Tuesday.

Windcrest will play in the championship Junior softball game on Tuesday. They will play the winner of the Robinson- Laguna matchup on Monday.

For all teams in the Little League divisions and above the winner of the Texas West Tournament will advance to the regional tournament with a chance to earn a trip to the World Series.

    In the 9-11 age, Abilene Dixie, defeated McAllister Park last night. Dixie advanced to championship game while MP plays Monday to see who will play Dixie on Tuesday.
