Helotes Police arrest Broadway Bank suspect

Late Monday evening, December 18 officers from Helotes Police Department with assistance of the San Antonio Robbery task force took into custody, Jack Andrew Harris for allegedly robbing the Broadway Bank in Helotes, Texas.

According to Helotes Police Detective Charles Fleckenstein the department received a tip on Saturday. Officers worked all day Sunday and most of Monday morning securing information and court documents to procure a warrant.

Helotes Police Department received the warrant late Monday afternoon and with the assistance of the San Antonio Robbery Taskforce was able to locate Andrews and affect the arrest.

Andrews is a 30-year-old white male who moved to the San Antonio area in the last six months. He was not a resident of Helotes.

Once taken into custody, he was interviewed by Helotes detectives and according to Fleckenstein confessed to the Broadway Bank Helotes robbery and additional bank robberies.
