Helotes City Council to consider annexation; appoint committee members; discuss lawsuit

The Helotes City Council will meet for the first regularly scheduled meeting on Thursday, June 11. The meeting will take place at Helotes City Council Chambers located at 12951 Bandera Road.

Council will consider annexation of land located on Whip-O-Will Way. Council will also discuss the resolution to issue Certificates of Obligation to fund capital improvements for the City including the installation of water and sewer lines along Bandera Road from Circle A to Scenic Loop Drive.

Council will also consider appointments to the different committees for the City including Council liaison members for City committees.

Council will convene in closed session to discuss the pending lawsuits against the City by builders located in the extra-territorial jurisdiction of the City.

The meeting is open to the public and any resident of Helotes may elect to speak before Council during the citizens to be heard portion of the meeting will start at 7pm.
