The Helotes Area Chamber of Commerce held their annual Gala on Saturday, February 2 at Pedrotti’s Northwind Ranch.
The Chamber uses funds raised from the Gala to support educational, scholarships, and other programs offered by the Chamber during the year.
This is also the Chamber’s opportunity to recognize businesses and volunteers in the community.
Receiving Small Business of the Year honors this year was 9 Round.
Large Business of the Year honors went to Frost Bank.
46th Street Pizza received New Business of the Year honors.
The Chamber recognized Upwards Transitions as the Non-Profit of the Year.
Casa Helotes nabbed the Community Service honors.
One of the Chamber’s founding members, and longtime community volunteer Bert Buys received the Lifetime Achievement Award.
After the awards ceremony those in attendance were able to dance to the music by a live band and try their luck at casino games.
